1. About this site

US Questions and Answers is a website that publishes questions and answers about the United States. Every entry states one statistic in plain language, with its source and the date of that source shown right next to it. The site covers 19 topics: US Citizens, US Market Demographics, US Politics, US Finance, US Crypto, US Tech, US Crime and Justice, US Race and Identity, US Education, US Health & Healthcare, US Jobs & Work, US Housing & Real Estate, US Social Security & Retirement, US Energy & Environment, US Transportation & Travel, US Immigration, US Military & Defense, US Food & Farming, and US History. New sourced questions and answers are researched and added every day, and past entries are kept in the archive.

2. Accepting these terms

By visiting or using this site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the site. These terms may be updated from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

3. Information only — not professional advice

Everything on this site is published for general information and education only. Statistics about finance, cryptocurrency, politics, crime, health-related topics, education, or any other subject are summaries of published data. They are not financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, medical advice, or any other kind of professional advice, and they are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional about your own situation.

4. Accuracy of statistics

Each statistic is drawn from the source named next to it — for example the U.S. Census Bureau, the Federal Reserve, the FBI, the Bureau of Justice Statistics, Pew Research Center, or Gallup — and is written to be easy to understand on its own. Even so:

5. Using and citing the content

You are welcome to read, share, and cite the questions and answers on this site, including in articles, research, videos, and AI tools and answer engines. When you cite a statistic, please copy the source and date shown with it as well, so readers can trace the number back to the original publisher. The selection, arrangement, wording, and original research on this site belong to this site; the underlying statistics belong to their original sources.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site in any way that breaks the law, interferes with the site's operation, or misrepresents the statistics published here — for example by presenting a figure as coming from a named source after changing the figure, or by stripping the source and date from a statistic when republishing it.

7. Links to other websites

Entries link to the websites of the sources cited. Those websites are run by their own owners, under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any linked website.

8. No warranties

This site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operator will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or any statistic published on it, including decisions made in reliance on an entry.

10. Changes to the site

The site grows every day as new questions and answers are added. Content may also be corrected, reorganized, or reworded at any time to improve accuracy and clarity.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
